Welcome to Gujarati Hindu Association Birmingham U.K

Welcome to the official site of the Gujarati Hindu Association of North Birmingham.We are a
Cultural oraganization involved in promoting  Gujarati  heritage, its rich culture, language,
literature and educational non profit organisation based in North Birmingham.As you might know
this organisation was founded in 1977 and the Gujarati Hindu Association  has been in operation
for over 36 years.We have one common goal “ Creating a positive and enjoyable experience of Friendship, Happiness and Harmony.”

We now have 400 members living in across West Midlands and surrounding areas.
Membership to our organisation is not limited to any Hindu religion or ethnic origin.

Purpose

The purpose of the Gujarati Hindu Association is:
  • Maintain, enhance, understand appreciate Gujarati culture and language.
  • To become a resource  for all members of the community.
  • To create interdependent relationship  amongst  several diverse Gujarati community
  • Members through joint efforts and projects of mutual benefits.
  • To organise fund raising events to help the needy persons in events of disasters nationally Or internationally.
  • To organize programs related to health and political awareness for all members of the Community and other Indian communities.
  • Promote Gujarati customs, traditions  and values within the community especially for the  young.
  • Foster Gujarati heritage by celebrating various Gujarati festivals and functions.

We believe  that with continued  support, we can reach our goal of becoming larger, stronger
and  more effective. We can  and must work together as one, to support the cause. We encourag 
Gujarati Hindu Association members to take advantage of  the annual membership.

We as committee members are a talented and dedicated team with a belief to serve our community in every possible manner  and make this a successful experience.

To promote these goals, the Gujarati Hindu Association holds many events, including  Navratri, Natak (Stage Dramas) and Diwali  festival celebrations and other parties.
